SPEAKER BACKGROUND
Victoria Johnson is an ardent advocate of sustainable development and seeks to apply the "triple bottom line" standard in all of her efforts. She was formerly a neighborhood planner for the City of Delray Beach. She now works as a consultant to the West Palm Beach Housing Authority, participating in the agency’s transition to provide mixed-income workforce housing.

Johnson is currently engaged in two redevelopment projects: MerryPlace, a 14 acre infill neighborhood and a 12 acre senior community. Both of these projects are located in West Palm Beach and will be certified through the Florida Green Building Coalition.

Johnson earned a B.A. in geography and economics and M.A. in urban planning at Florida Atlantic University. She is also licensed as a State of Florida Building Contractor, as well as a Roofing Contractor.
